- Scott was a five year two sport athlete during his tenure at Waterloo. He was a member of the Track and Field team, running the 1500m and 3000m races, and was a member of the Cross Country team.
- Scott ran his way to 7 OUA medals and 4 CIS medals in Cross Country and Track and Field combined. He also won 2 CIS All Canadian awards with Cross Country and One CIS All Canadian award for Track and Field.
- In the spring of the 2006 Scott was selected to represent Canada at the World University Cross Country Championships in Algeria
- Scott was a multiple Academic All Canadian and graduated from Waterloo with a Environmental Studies Degree.
