Waterloo Warriors Hall of Fame
Inducted: Oct. 17, 1993
• Member and captain of both the Warrior waterpolo team and swim team
• Advanced to CIAU Championships 4 out of 5 seasons following numerous medals in the OUAA and later the O-QAA
• Member of the '69 World University Games teams in both sports
• One time, held the UW record in nine events
• In 1987, George set five provincial and two national records while competing in the 40 -44 age category, in 1988 he broke two of them and set another
• Presently operates his own Consulting and Counseling Company in Winnipeg, Manitoba
• Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Recreation and Leisure) in 1973
