• member of four consecutive league championship teams in track and field from 1969 - 1972
• in 1970, he won four gold medals in the league championship
• set 8 records during his career at Waterloo, of which he still holds or shares several
• sports reporter and then editor of the student newspaper at UW
• named the Outstanding College Athlete at the Maple Leaf Games in 1971
• kinesiology representative on the UW Federation of Students
• at the time of induction, he operates his own public transportation firm in Vancouver
graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) degree in 1972
