• Assistant basketball coach from 1966 to 1969
• Head track and field coach from 1966 to 1970
• Expanded and developed the track and field program from a one season sport to a year-round activity
• Innovator in his recruitment methods, his training methods, and in the types of competition which he organized for his athletes
• His track and field teams had a winning percentage of 83% in out meets with other universities
• His teams won two league championships in track and field and one in cross-country
• He was named co-coach of a combined Ontario and Quebec team in one of the first national interuniversity meets held in Winnipeg in 1969
• From 1975 until his induction, he has been the Chair of the Mike Moser Memorial Fund
• At the time of induction, he was a faculty member in the Kinesiology department at the University of Waterloo.
