- Selected as Canadian Olympic wrestling coach in 1972 where he coached three Warrior athletes – Egon Beiler, Pat Bolger and George Saunders, all members of Waterloo’s Hall of Fame

- Member of the Canadian Wrestling Federations’ Hall of Fame
- Awarded the FILA (International Federation of Associated Wrestling) Silver Star
