• Hired as Assistant Director in 1959.
• Helped to initiate the one-year program in Physical Education.
• Helped to form the UW Athletic Directorate (forerunners of today's Athletic Advisory Board)
• Helped to form the School of Physical Education and Recreation to UW. This evolved into the Faculty of Human Kinetics and Leisure Studies.
• Left UW in 1969 to become executive administrator of the National Sport and Recreation Center in Ottawa.
• Became personal consultant to Minister of Fitness and Amateur Sport in 1977.
• At the time of induction he was the Administrator of Education Services in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University.
• He was the first basketball coach.
