• Active campus recreation participant, teacher and student administrator at UW.
• Organized and chaired the 11th Annual Post-Secondary Student Intramural Conference hosted by UW.
• Conducted pioneer research in recreation administration for the Canadian Intramural Recreation Association (CIRA).
• Recipient of the Peter Hopkins Trophy and Abbey Dunsmere Trophy for outstanding participation and excellence in intramurals and contributions as a student teacher.
• Served as senior campus recreation student coordinator and coordinator of officials.
• Assistant director of campus recreation at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) 1987 to 1990.
• Director of campus recreation at Saint Louis University 1990 to 1998.
• Candidate for doctor of education (Saint Louis University) and doctor of philosophy in Leisure Studies (University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana) at the time of induction.
• Graduated from UW in 1977 with an honours bachelor of arts degree in history and a -Master of Arts degree in recreation and leisure studies in 1982.
