• in the 1966-67 season, he was an O-QAA All-Star
• led the warriors to the O-QAA Championship Game in 1967 - 1968
• he was selected MVP of the hockey Warriors in 1968
• technical director of the Ontario Hockey Association from 1972 - 1978
• coached high school teams to the Ontario finals on two occasions
• coached the Guelph Platers to the Centennial Cup Championships in 1979
• served as an Assistant Coach with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks
• served as an Assistant Coach of the Canada team which won the silver medal in the 1985 World Championship
• at the time of induction, Ron is the Director of Player Personnel with the Canadian National Hockey Team
• graduated in 1968 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts
