• Founder of the world famous Warriors Band in 1965.
• Member of the world famous Warriors Band from 1965-70.
• First Head Centurian of the Warrior Band in 1965.
• Established many of the Warrior Band traditions. E.g. never any practices.
• Obtained two degrees from Waterloo, Bachelor of Mathematics in 1969 and Master of Mathematics in 1970.
• Obtained his PhD in the United Kingdom in 1975.
• Member of the symphony orchestras in Ottawa, Kitchener, Liverpool, UK and Halifax.
• Working for the Bedford Institute of Oceanography in Halifax, NS at the time of induction.
