• Joined staff in 1968 as an assistant football coach and assistant director of intramurals
• Prior to his appointment in 1992 to the association for student affairs, Peter served as Assistant Director of Athletics with responsibilities for facilities and campus recreation services.
• Founder and first president of the Canadian Intramural Recreation Association.
• Originated first Canadian Intramural newsletter.
• Peter, over his 23 years with the department, wrote many articles and made numerous keynote presentations across North America.
• Served as a tutor in the student village for 14 years.
