• Member of the swim team, competing for five years between 1972-1979.
• Assistant coach with the swim team in 1978-79. The team won the CIAU championship that year.
• Captain of the swim team from 1974-1976.
• Held every UW record from the 50 yards to the 1650-yard events.
• Qualified for the CIAU championship in all five years of competition.
• Was a member of the UW CIAU championship team in 1977-78
• All Canadian swimmer in 1974-75 and 1975-76.
• Won the silver medal in the 200 yard freestyle in 1975
• At the time of induction, Dave is a medical doctor residing in Vancouver.
• He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kiniseology in 1976 and his Master of Science Degree, also in Kinesiology (muscle physiology) in 1979.
