• Conference Planning Committee member, Ontario University Student Leadership and Recreation Conference, 1985 to 1986.
• Chairperson and Treasurer, campus recreation advisory council, 1984 to 1986.
• Was highly involved in the leadership of UW campus rec program for all 8 terms as participant, college representative convenor, student assistant and numerous other volunteer positions.
• Program manager of community services, fitness instruction, intramurals, open-rec and the summer camps at the University of Toronto 1988 to 1998.
• Residence Don, St. Jerome's College 1984 to 1985.
• Recreation volunteer (MB, Waterloo 1983 to 1984).
• Master of Education (M.Ed.), Educational Administration, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, OISE/UT 2001.
• Works and teaches at the University of Toronto, where he is the manager of leadership development in the Faculty of PhysEd and Health.
