• Actively involved with campus recreation between 1974 and 1982.
• Represented Village 1 South Quad on men's intramural council.
• Served on Athletics Advisory Board in 1975-1976.
• Active referee between 1975 and 1982.
• Convenor of men's intramural basketball five times.
• Managed numerous successful basketball teams, winning six division A championships.
• Received the Allan J. McCormick Award for Outstanding contributions to intramurals through administration and/or competition.
• Graduated from UW in May 1981 with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry.
