WATERLOO, Ont. - Men's Hockey' Kyle Morey (Kitchener, ONT/Victus Academy) and Women's Golf's Jadelina Tep-Chhun (St Thomas, ONT/St. Joseph's Catholic High School) have been named this week's W Store Warriors Athletes of the Week, presented by Imprint.

Morey scored his first career OUA goal on Thursday night at Laurier and never looked back. He finished the Battle of Waterloo with two goals and two assists – a point on all four Warriors goals in a 4-3 road win – including the game-winning goal. He added a goal and an assist in Friday's overtime thriller at home against Guelph, giving him six points on the weekend.

"Kyle has competed well and been responsible in all areas of the ice," said Warriors Head Coach Brian Bourque. The first-year Recreation and Leisure Studies major currently leads the OUA in scoring with seven points.

Morey and the Warriors hit the road on Friday to face the York Lions before returning home on Saturday to host the TMU Bold at 7:00 PM.

Tep-Chhun finished tied for fifth individually at the OUA Championships with a score of 157 (13 over par) through two cold and windy rounds at Hylands Golf Club in Ottawa this weekend. She led the Warriors to a team bronze medal and was named an OUA All-Star for the second consecutive season.

"Jade had the grit and resilience this weekend to battle through the elements, which earned her a top-five finish and All-Star nod," said Warriors Head Coach Carla Munch. "All season Jade was a constant threat at every event we played, and it showed this weekend why she is a two-time OUA All-Star."

This is the first Warriors Athlete of the Week award for Morey and the second for Tep-Chhun.
