Active Study Desks

Did you know that the average university student is sedentary for 12 hours per day (Moulin & Irwin, 2017)? Good for you for choosing to be active while studying! Students at UW find that not only can they complete school work normally while using an active study desk, but their mood was boosted afterwards.

Find the closest Active Study Desk to you! Active Study Desks are found:
  • SLC (Treadmill desks are in the 3rd floor study area, Bicycle desks are outside the Grad Lounge on the 3rd floor)
  • EV1 (Courtyard study space and Grad Lounge)
  • Dana Porter (Bicycle desk and Treadmill desk are in the NW corner of the 3rd floor)
  • HLTH EXP (2nd floor)
  • ENG (E2 and E5)
  • M3 (Main floor)
