The Waterloo Warriors wrapped up their 2018-19 swimming season with eight swimmers qualifying for the U SPORTS Championship and seven swimmers taking the trip to Vancouver to compete at the UBC Swimming Venue.
The women's team finished in 13th place with 198.5 points, 1.5 behind Dalhousie and three spots better than their 16th place finish in 2018.
Men finished in 19
th place with 39 points. All seven team members made finals and scored and certainly a highlight was the women's sixth place finish in the 400 Medley Relay –

Jocelyn vanLeeuwen (Mississauga/) - with a time of 4.22.33 LCM this ranks them sixth in Canada (Includes University and Clubs) for 2019.
Rookie
Lukas Wormald (Kitchener/) after placing seventh in the 200 Individual Medley on Day 1, just managed to get into the final of the 400 Individual Medley in his morning swim placing 24
th. It was a very different story in the finals, Wormald led from start to finish to win the C Final in 4.32.59 LCM, 3.34 seconds ahead of the second place finisher, a time that would have placed him 11
th overall.
Josie Andres (Thorndale/) finished her University Swimming Career on a high, scoring 45 points for the women's squad, by winning the B final of the 50m Butterfly in 27.72LCM she qualified for the 1
st time to compete in the 2019 Canadian Swimming Trials to be held in April. Other Waarrior Swimmers who have qualified for the 2019 Trials are
