Box Score The Waterloo men's soccer team put together a strong 90 minutes of action on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field earning a 1-1 tie with the always stingy Western Mustangs. Â
After a tough 3-0 loss to York in their previous contest, the black and gold came out fighting for every inch picked up a crucial point in the standings.
Waterloo's record improved to 1-3-1 good for seventh spot in the OUA west standings while Western is in second spot with a 4-1-1 record.
Waterloo's offence came from
Jae Jin Lee (Toronto) who potted his third of the season in the 40th minute. Â Western found the equalizer in the 60th minute off the foot of Braeden Gee as that was all the offence the two teams could muster.
Waterloo got another solid performance between the pipes from
Thomas Modjesch (Kitchener).
The Warriors will be back in action with just one game next weekend as they host the Windsor Lancers on Sunday at 3:15pm on Warrior Field. Â
