The women Warriors faced University of Toronto in the first round of the 2015 edition of the OUA Championships and fell by a score of 5-2.

Seeded fifth the Warriors were optimistic of their chances as they lost by a 3-4 margin to the fourth seeded Blues in the regular season. Friday's play started with the doubles point being won by the Blues when they came through with a 8-6 win over no. 1 Lucy Yao (Whitby) and Nicole Holland (Oakville) with the score at 1-1. No. 2 Manasai Guggali and Lupita Widyasanti (New Westminster) had earlier won their match and no.3 Trisha Abraham (Mississauga) and rookie Linda Pipkorn (Gothenburg) lost theirs.

Guggali and Widyasanti also went on to win their singles matches providing Waterloo with its only two points. Guggali and Widyasanti were in fine form and saved their best for last. The other Warriors too gave their best efforts but the Blues were too solid. Despite the first round loss, the women Warriors did as well as can be expected and it was a positive experience all round.
