Badgers rout Waterloo 39-15 on rainy afternoon

Brock's offence came out strong against the Warriors on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The field conditions were far from perfect leading to a variety of handling and footing errors. The Badgers defeated Waterloo 39-15 to push the Warriors to 0-3 on the season.

Strong running by Kyle Kraemer (St. Clements/) and great defensive play by Michael Baumung (Cambridge/) helped the Warriors keep the game close. Sang Joon (Jason) Park also had a great performance on the pitch earning himself another man of the match award.

The first half ended with a score of 11-3 for Brock and Waterloo was unfortunately unable to regain the momentum leading to multiple scores by Brock in the second half. With the absence of Sang Min (Jeff) Park due to an ankle injury, rookie Sam Newhook (St. Johns/) earned his first varsity start at inside center and held his ground respectively against a veteran Brock side.

The Waterloo Warriors are heading into a bye week with an exhibition game against Ottawa next Sunday before heading to London to face Western on September 27th in hopes to break their current three-game losing streak.
