The Warriors pulled off a 2-2 tie in a high-adrenaline match against the Laurier Golden Hawks on Sunday afternoon.  With the tie, the Warriors picked up a crucial point to earn them sixth spot in the OUA west standings setting up a quarter-final match up against McMaster in Hamilton.

Waterloo was first to score at the 16th minute as midfielder Mohamed Aborig (Tripoli, Lybia) potted his fifth goal of the season. Laurier's Sandro Stojackovic (Waterloo, Ont.) evened the score in the 42nd minute as the game was locked at one heading into the second half.

At the 68th minute Waterloo's Jesse Bean (Waterloo, Ont.) scored, pulling the visiting Warriors ahead.  With only one minute remaining a foul was called in Waterloo's box giving Laurier a penalty kick to tie the game.  First year midfielder Donald Chmura made no mistake to even the score at two and the game would end in a draw.
