Kadam, a first year kinesiology student had a spectacular weekend for the Warriors at the 2011 OUA Badminton Championship.  Kadam was named the OUA female rookie of the year winning 10 out of the 11 matches she played in.  In women’s singles Kadam swept the competition en route to the championship match where she was edged by Jennifer Lam of the Western Mustangs (22-24, 21-19, 19-21).  In mixed doubles, Kadam and partner Andrew Tai-Pow did not lose a set all tournament long to give Waterloo the mixed doubles title and help the Warriors capture the overall silver medal .
