Mo Yassin had an incredible weekend at the OUA Championship running six races in under 24 hours, while collecting three medals (1 gold, 2 bronze). On Saturday, Yassin bolted to the finish line in a time of 6.90 to capture the bronze medal by 0.01s. Less than an hour later, Yassin led his team off with a 21.8 split in the men’s 4x200m relay, helping them dash to a gold medal with a season’s best time of 1:28.55 only 0.18s off the men’s school record. Yassin then concluded his fantastic weekend with a great lead off leg in the men’s 4x400m in which the Warriors captured bronze. Overall, Yassin contributed 27 of the men’s 42 team points which was good enough for sixth place overall.
