Sian Smart (Kingston, Jamaica) of the track and field team collected two medals at the Don Wright Team Challenge this past weekend in London.  Smart blew away the field with a personal best time of 7.62s to win the gold medal in the 60m dash.  With this time, Smart moves into fifth in USports rankings and is the third fastest time in UW history.  Smart followed up her gold with a strong opening split in the 4x200m relay, posting a time of 2.59s as her team won silver with an overall time of 1:42.86s.
