Jonathan Ramkissoon stole the show at the 2017 OUA Swimming Championship earning four medals in three days of competition. On the opening day, Ramkissoon captured silver in the men’s 4x50m free relay with a new team record by almost one second in a time of 1:32.67. Ramkissoon also won bronze on day 1 in the 200m breast thanks to his time of 2:15.52. The following day, Ramkissoon defended his title in the 100m breast, swimming the finals in a time of 1:00.41. On the third and final day, Ramkissoon again found the podium, claiming the silver medal in the 50m breast with a time of 28.18. Ramkissoon will now prepare for the U SPORTS Championship from Feb. 24-26 in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
