First year member of the track and field team Rachel Brown capped off her tremendous rookie campaign at the CIS Championship in Edmonton this past weekend.  With no prior experience in the 4x400m relay race, Brown ran the final leg with poise as she hunted down her competitors to pass the no. 7 ranked team with 50m to go in the race.  With Brown’s final sprint down the stretch, the Warriors moved up one ranking to finish eighth overall to grab a single point for the women’s team in their national championship debut.
