Adam Poradzisz (Burlington) marked his debut with a goal in the first half, setting a strong tone for the Warriors. In the second half, Noah Medeiros (Cambridge) had a perfectly placed ball to Nikolas Antolcic (Kitchener) to net a second goal, putting the Warriors in a favorable position.
The Lions made a late push, scoring twice in the final minutes to level the match. Despite the pressure, Warriors goalkeeper Lorin-Alexander Lopez (Toronto) was outstanding, making eight crucial saves.
