2024 Canadian University Rowing Championships: Warriors Make History in Victoria

The Waterloo Warriors made a powerful statement at the 2024 Canadian University Rowing Championships, held November 2-3 at the iconic Elk Lake in Victoria, BC. With seven boats representing the Warriors across various categories, the weekend was filled with anticipation, and the team delivered on all fronts.

The Warriors' boats included:


A major highlight of the competition came from the Men's 2X boat, where Domagalski and Gulsaran put on an unforgettable performance. With perfect timing and impressive speed, the duo surged ahead in the final stretch to claim the gold medal, finishing nearly three seconds ahead of their closest competitors. This historic win marks the Warriors' first ever gold medal in this event at the Canadian University Rowing Championships.

With the outdoor rowing season now wrapped up, the Warriors are already looking ahead, shifting focus to indoor training on the ergs. With the historic gold medal fresh in their minds, the Warriors are eager to carry this momentum into next season.
