It wasn't the result the Warriors had hoped for or expected as the Brock Badgers came into Waterloo and controlled most of the game to oust the Warriors, 29-12 in the OUA quarter-finals.
Brock found the games opening score to take an early 5-0 lead but Waterloo responded 10 minutes later as
Paul Schroeder (New Dundee/New Dundee) charged one into the endzone to make it a 5-5 game into half.
Brock then took the lead scoring the next 12 points for the 17-5 advantage. The Warriors were not ready to go away however as
Harrison Cooper (Cobourg/) muscled his way in for the try.
Mitch Voralek (Waterloo/)Â hit the convert and the Warriors were down just 5 (17-12) with 15 minutes to play.
The Badgers again tilted the field back in their favour in the final 10 minutes with two more tries and one convert to take the 29-12 win.
Brock will now head to Queen's for the OUA semifinals next Saturday in Kingston while the Warriors will take on RMC on CIF Field 1 at 1pm in the consolation semifinals.Â
