Warriors claim three more medals on Day 3 of OUA Swimming Championship

The Warriors wrapped up a very successful OUA Swimming Championship winning three medals and breaking seven school records while achieving 19 personal best times on the final day of competition.

At the end of the championship, the men finished fifth overall with their team total of 342, just four back of Guelph for fourth while the women rose from ninth spot all the way to sixth with their point total of 313.

Jonathan Ramkissoon (Trinidad/) was awarded the Graduating Athlete Award presented to eight OUA swimmers for their incredible career achievements at the OUA Championships. Overall Ramkissoon came away with three medals including two silvers (100m Breaststroke, 200m Medley relay) and one bronze (50m Breaststroke).

Also winning medals was Leon Ouyang (Windsor/), Aidan Chow (Stouffville), and Alex Lojko who won silver as part of the 200m Medley Relay while on the women's side rookie Eloise Ladyman (Kamloops/) earned a bronze in the 200m Back.

The Warriors will now prepare for the U SPORTS Championships held from February 23-25 at the University of Toronto. Representing the Warriors will be:
