The Brock University men's rugby team improved to 3-0-1 on the season as they defeated the Waterloo Warriors by the score of 29-5 Saturday afternoon in front of a hometown crowd of 536. The lost put the Warriors record at 2-2-1 on the season.
In his return to the Brock lineup, Rory McDonell (Brantford, Ont.) recorded nine points connecting on three converts and a nice drop kick on the run which sailed down the middle of the posts midway through the second half.
Ty Riddick (Oshawa, Ont.) led all scorers with 10 points including his third and fourth tries of the season. Scott Radford (Scarborough, Ont.) and Dylan Mundy (Sutton, Ont.) rounded out the Badgers scoring each adding single tries in the victory.
Alexander Stanwyck (Georgetown, Ont.) scored Waterloo's lone try in the loss.
The Warriors travel down the 401 for a thanksgiving weekend match up on Friday, October 8 to face the undefeated Western Mustangs (4-0).
