Paulo Miguel (Montreal, Que.) had a fantastic day this past weekend at the York Open. Miguel broke his own varsity record in the men’s 60m hurdle heats with a time of 8.38s. He then smashed that time during an exciting photo finish final in 8.25s to capture the bronze medal, just 0.01s away from gold and 0.02 from U SPORTS auto-qualifying standard. Miguel also moved up to fourth in the U SPORTS rankings. Miguel finished the day by helping his 4x200m team to a fourth place finish and a seasons best time of 1:31.40 keeping them ranked in the U SPORTS Top 12.
