Aidan Simone showed his promising future on the biggest stage as the second year outside hitter put together two strong games at the CIS Championship tournament in Saskatoon.  In Thursday’s contest with CanWest powerhouse Alberta, Simone was consistent with five kills, three digs and three blocks.  In Friday’s match with OUA vial York, Simone was the go-to target throughout finishing with an astounding 20 kills while also adding eight digs and four blocks.  Despite not winning a game at nationals, Simone showed he will be a key piece of this Warrior team, who will look to make a deeper run next season.
