Biography

Kate is the team's second player from Stratford, ON, joining returning wing player Laura Bossers. Kate is a 6'1" post player that has huge amounts of potential. She is a very good athlete that gets up and down the floor very well and has excellent hands. As her comfort level grows she should prove to be one of the better passing post players around in the league by the time her career is over, as she already has great vision and patience. She will get a great chance to make an impact early, being one of the few players on team that is comfortable playing inside. Kate's club team, the Stratford Optimists won the gold medal in the OBA division 5 provincial championships last season. After making her school's honour roll last year, Kate is moving on to the Honours Science program at Waterloo.
