Marketing Booth Program Coordinator

 Position:Marketing Booth Student Program Coordinator 
 Appointment Terms:August 17, 2025 – April 30, 2026 (flexible start date and open to one-term commitments if better suited to the candidate) 
 Rate of Pay:$19.00/hour
 Hours Per Week:10-15 hours/week

Job Summary:

Reporting to Emily Ysselstein, the Marketing Coordinator within Athletics and Recreation, the Marketing Booth Student Program Coordinator will be responsible for leading promo booth bookings throughout the academic year across campus. The role includes full-cycle coordination from outreach to campus partners to on-site execution of booths. 

The SPC will schedule and complete two booths per week on a flexible timeline that works with their schedule. They will be expected to attend weekly marketing team meetings and be a reliable ambassador for Athletics and Recreation. 

Availability on September 20, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for Homecoming is required. 
Some evening and weekend work will be expected. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and scheduling of two marketing booths per week on campus 
  • Communicate with campus partners and marketing staff to secure booth locations and logistics 
  • Attend and represent Athletics and Recreation at scheduled booths 
  • Interact with students, promoting programs and creating a welcoming and engaging presence 
  • Attend weekly marketing meetings 
  • Provide post-event feedback and assist with tracking booth outcomes 
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, demonstrating strong school spirit and enthusiasm 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education, technical skills, and customer service experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple sources of work assignment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse campus groups and student audiences
  • A team player who is dependable, proactive, and creative
