Summary:
Responsible for the following:
- Creating timely and appropriate content to be posted on the @wloorec Instagram account
- Highlighting the experiences of students participating in Warrior Recreation
- Promoting a wide variety of recreational programming available to uWaterloo students
- Working collaboratively with the @wloorec Social Team
- Aligning messaging and voice with departmental goals and values
- Being creative – funny/engaging posts are encouraged
- Responding to comments in a timely and professional manner
- Promoting and building the following for the @wloorec account
- Content ideas include but are not limited to memes, trendy topics, video/photography from a variety of recreational programming
Minimum Qualifications:
- Student at the University of Waterloo
- Social media expertise and experience
- Phone must be able to produce quality content
- Understanding of the breadth and experiences of Warrior Recreation
Skills Required:
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute
- Comfort approaching and engaging with fellow students, participants, and Warrior Recreation staff
- Works well independently
- Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication
- Creative
- Professional
