 Rate of Pay:$17.95/hour
 Hours Per Week:4-10 /week

Job Summary:

  • Work closely with the Warriors Marketing team to engage students, staff, faculty and Alumni on campus and in the community with our Varsity and Recreation programs and events 
  • Work closely with the Sports Marketing Co-op Student to execute the Waterloo Warriors Team-Up Community Outreach program 
  •  Act as an ambassador for the program and the Warriors while in the community. 
  • Assist Student-Athlete speakers with presentations and outreach initiatives. 
  • Assist marketing team with sponsorship servicing. 

 This is a casual part-time 8-month contract working from September – April 2024 – open to discuss only 4 month contract 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role with scheduling sessions with teachers and principals.
  • Responsible for communicating with community members via new Team-Up email account along with Sports Marketing Co-op student.
  • Act as a coordinator for 1-2 Team-Up Visit/week (flexible based on visits schedule. Marketing Co-op Schedule and Team-Up SPC Schedule)

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Outgoing individual who works well with others, including children and fans of all ages.
  • A professional demeanor and image to prove compatible with the Waterloo Warriors
  • Ideal applicants should be motivated in generating Warrior spirit.
  • Satisfactory CPIC with Vulnerable Sector screening required
  • Valid Class “G” drivers license (Driving record must pass insurance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple sources of work assignment, requiring attention to detail, quality/efficiency and solid decision making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a coordinated team 
  • Ability to solve conflicts and complications independently
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
