Position: Dance Instructor
Renumeration: $20.60 - $27.60 per hour based on experience
Reports to: Fitness, Dance and Martial Arts Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Waterloo Warriors are looking for motivated and experienced Dance Instructors to join our team! Instructors are responsible for leading high quality, fun, and dynamic classes for our instructional class participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Approved Certification/License in the class style you would like to teach as well as description of the certification/licensing process.
- For any style where there is no appropriate certification or license, we require a dance resume listing all previous instruction experience.
- Minimum 2 years of instructing experience
- Standard First Aid with CPR, valid within the last 2 years
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive 10 minutes before start of scheduled class
- Teach all assigned classes for the full length of the fitness class schedule
- Hold all valid certifications and licenses for the duration of employment
- Adhere to all department and certification/license policies and procedures
- Promote positive messages and communications to participants on behalf of the department
