Interuniversity Council

The Interuniversity Council is a student-led committee consisting of representatives from all Warrior varsity athletic teams. The Council meets once a month during the varsity season and brings forth a voice on behalf of student-athletes, providing a liaison to departmental staff.


Executive Roles

a) Be the voice of the council to the department/community
b) Act as role models for all student-athletes
c) Ongoing promotion and encouragement of other council members to participate and get involved in department/council initiatives
d) Create Agendas for and lead meetings
e) Take attendance and minutes at meetings

2024-2025 IU Council Executive 

My name is Victoria Chuong. I’m going into my 5th year of Mechatronics Engineering. I’m a 5th year athlete and the captain of the Women’s Soccer team. I’m looking forward to being on the IU Council Exec team and helping improve the experience of our student athletes!
My name is Avery Kelly, and I am a Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Student. I am currently a captain and fifth year athlete on the Varsity Women's Volleyball Team! I am extremely excited to be returning to the IU Council executive to create new relationships, act as a strong female voice, and encourage other student athletes to make the Warriors athletic community a better place!
My name is Carson Hepburn, and I am in my final year of studying Recreation and Sport Business. I am currently a captain and fifth year athlete on the Varsity Men's Baseball Team. Im very excited to be added to the IU Council executives to make new connections, new relationships within the athletic community and encourage all student athletes to represent the Warriors logo proudly while making our athletic community a close knit, supportive, and fun place!
