WATERLOO, Ont. - The full rosters and coaching staffs have been announced for the 2026 U SPORTS East-West Bowl, taking place at the University of Waterloo on Saturday, May 9.
The event features the top 107 Canadian university football players eligible for the 2027 CFL Draft as they look to showcase their skills to coaches, general managers, and personnel from the Canadian Football League. A minimum of three players in their third or fourth year from each of the 27 U SPORTS football programs will attend the game.
Fullback Elijah Pappin (Niagara falls/), linebackers Arden Martinez (Niagara Falls/) and Nate Mortenson (Windsor/), and receiver Logan Heroux (Burlington/) will represent the black and gold on Team West. Defensive lineman Dominique Walker (Oshawa, ON/) will be the lone Warrior on Team East. Linebacker Michael Omoseni (Burlington/) was also selected to play but will not participate due to injury.
The Guelph Gryphons lead the field with six players participating in the game. Waterloo is one of eight teams with five players in the game.
Overall, this year's rosters feature 12 All-Canadians and 25 conference all-stars from the 2025 season.
On the sidelines, Warriors Special Teams Assistant and Assistant Running Backs Coach Sierra McPhail will reprise both roles for Team West. Warriors Running Backs Coach Jason Lambropolous will join her as Wide Receivers Coach, while Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator Kevin MacNeill will serve as Team West's Linebackers Coach.
The head coaching matchup will be a rematch of the 2025 Mitchell Bowl, as Saskatchewan Huskies Head Coach Scott Flory will lead Team West against Steve Snyder of the Queen's Gaels and Team East.
This year's East-West Bowl will feature a virtual coaches clinic on April 11 and 12, registration is still open. Read more about the clinic and the full list of East-West Bowl events here.
Kickoff is set for 12:30, Saturday, May 9 on Warrior Field. Tickets are available now.
