Waterloo, ON – The Waterloo Warriors and Windsor Lancers played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field, delivering an exciting and evenly-matched contest.

Waterloo took the lead in the 15th minute when Ceci Mejia (Stouffville/) scored, assisted by Taite Sinkeldam (Guelph/). The Lancers responded just before halftime, with Aislynn Essibrah scoring off a corner kick from Vanessa Corry, tying the game 1-1.

In the second half, both teams had opportunities to secure the win. Waterloo's Natalie Mouradian (Kitchener/) made several key saves, while Windsor's Izzy Barrette was also pivotal in keeping her team in the match. Despite pressure from both sides and a few yellow cards, neither team was able to break the deadlock.
