Tommy 'Toph' Pham and Damian 'Damo' Reiter spent this July proving themselves as some of the best names in competitive VALORANT.
Campus Clutch 2021, hosted by Red Bull, is a high-stakes VALORANT tournament calling for college and university students to compete on the worldwide stage.
Over 50 countries hosted regional qualifiers, with 12 teams qualifying for the Campus Clutch finals in Madrid, Spain.
One team stuck out in the Canada Campus Clutch qualifiers – BTR. Blowing away their competition and winning the entire qualifier, BTR quickly made a name for themselves as the best Collegiate VALORANT team in Canada.
Toph and Damo, two Waterloo students and members of the Waterloo VALORANT A Team, aided in BTR's rise to becoming the fourth best team in the world for Collegiate VALORANT.
Their performance throughout the tournament turned several heads, with Damo finishing the group stage as the best Omen player out of all competing teams.
Following the semifinal and final matches, Damo ended Campus Clutch as the third Omen player in collegiate worldwide, with Toph following suit as the third Reyna in collegiate VALORANT.
