The Warriors men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 match to the No. 2 York Lions on windy night at Warrior Field.
York scored two goals in the opening half off the foot of Christian Cavallini and Omar Marzouk.
Marzouk added his second of the match in the 68th minute to put his Lions up 3-0.
Waterloo found the net in the 71st minute as
Nicholas Ribeiro (Bolton/)Â netted his second of the season and 12th of his career. It was only the 7th goal York has conceded all season. Waterloo could not muster any more goals as they would fall 3-1.
With the loss Waterloo dropped to 6-3-0 and will face another tough test tomorrow against the 6-1-1 Guelph Gryphons. Kickoff is set for 3:15pm.
