The Warriors women's volleyball hot start to the season continued on Saturday as the black and gold swept (17, 17, 18) the Lakehead Thunderwolves for the second straight night.
Waterloo used a balanced attack as five players had at least six points in the victory. Leading the way was rookie left side,
Sarah Glynn (Fredericton/) with nine points on five kills, three service aces and one block.
Another rookie,
Ella Stewart (Ottawa/) had a strong match with seven points while Claire Mackenize continued her hot start to the season with eight points.
Katrine Eistrat (Toronto/) saw most of the court time as setter, earning 14 assists in the win.
Defensively, Mackenzie and Glynn each had 10 digs.
Waterloo will now shift their attention to their home opening weekend, as they host Windsor (Saturday) and Western (Sunday). Both games will start at noon and can be seen live on oua.tv.
