Warriors defeat Badgers and Hawks in weekend meets

The Warriors swim team wrapped up their prepration for the OUA championship this weeknd with wins at Brock and Laurier.

Outstanding performances came from Jocelyn van Leeuwen (Mississauga/) who won four events over the two days. At Brock van Leeuwen won the 100 Fly, 100 Freestyle and at Laurier she came away with wins in the 50 and 200 Freestyle events.

On the men's side Leon Ouyang (Windsor/) dominated the Backstroke events winning the 100m Backstroke and 50m Backstroke. Ouyang also managed to out touch Peter Li (Oakville/) also of Waterloo in the 50m Freestyle against Laurier with 24.83 to 24.89.

At Laurier, the men also dominated the 100m fly with a 1-2-3 finish (Samer Khalil (Cairo/), Mark Huang (Richmond Hill/), and Kaan Alsan (Markham/)).

The Warriors will now got into final preparation for the OUA Championships to be held at Western University from February 8-10.
