Kendra Wynter (Oakville) found the net for her first career CIS goal but it wasn't enough as the Warriors fell 2-1 to the Brock Badgers in their first road contest of the year.  Waterloo dropped to 0-1-1 on the young season.

After a scoreless opening half, Brock got on the board first as Laura Kirk fired one past Warrior keeper Findley Dunn (Toronto), who was making her second straight start after a brilliant performance in week one.  

Just two minutes later, Wynter evened the score putting one past Brock's rookie keeper Marilena Spagnolo.  

Brock regained the one goal lead in the 83rd minute as Brooke Boekestyn crossed one into the box to Celine DaCosta who buried it past Dunn for the eventual game winner.

Spagnolo made eight saves for her first career OUA victory while Dunn had six stops in the loss.

Waterloo will be back in action tomorrow as they welcome the Guelph Gryphons to Warrior Field.  Kickoff is set for 1pm.
