This past weekend the Waterloo Warriors Lifesaving Club participated in the Ontario Pool Lifesaving Championships at the University of Guelph. For the third year in a row the team took overall bronze, earning two gold, nine silver and 11 bronze medals in different events.
Congratulations to Caitlyn Schopp and Sam Standish for winning gold in Line Throw at their first ever Pool Lifesaving competition, to the men's relay teams for their Gold and Bronze medal wins in the manikin relay.
Freya Lewis () took silver in the Manikin 50 m Tow, setting a personal best.Â

Steven Tang () placed third in a tie for Men's Open Overall. The mens and womens Youth relay teams (Nathanial DeBoer, Diego Orbe James Rawlings, Kanishk Goomer; Sam Standish, Caitlyn Schoop, Allison Larocque , Sienna Joyce) placed third and second respectively in the Medley Relay.
