Lindsey McDonald (Ajax) netted the lone goal in Waterloo's 1-0 win over Windsor on Friday night. Â
In what was her 96th career regular season game, McDonald found the net at 13:28 of the third period to give Waterloo three points in the standings and more importantly secured a playoff spot for the black and gold. Â
Alyssa Gee (Ajax) was back from injury and picked up the lone helper on McDonald's perfectly timed, first career goal. Â
Rebecca Bouwhuis (Orillia) did the rest between the pipes making 22 saves in the win.
Waterloo will enjoy the rest of the weekend off before their final two games of the season to decide playoff positioning. Â They will take on Western in a rare Thursday night tilt at the CIF before closing out the season at home on Saturday against Ryerson.
