Box Score The Warriors netted two more power play goals on Saturday, giving them seven on the season to lead the province, as the black and gold skated to an impressive 4-1 win over Laurentian. 

Rachel Marriott (Waterloo) continued with her hot stick of late getting in on every goal with one goal and three assists in the win.  Marriott now sits tied for first in OUA points with 10 (3g, 7a).

Waterloo played a structurally sound game to improve to 5-2-0 on the season, good for second overall in the OUA.  Laurentian fell to 4-2-0 and are just one spot back of the Warriors.

Angela MacDonald (Kitchener) opened the scoring at 5:43 of the first on the power play with Marriott and Marissa Redmond (Ajax) picking up the helpers.

The Warriors would add to their lead in the middle frame as Tegan Odland (Enchant) banged home a rebound following a shot by Marriott.  MacDonald picked up her second point of the game with the second assist.

Before the second period would come to a close, Marriott made it a 3-0 game with her third of the season.  Carolyn Burke (Mississauga) and Amy Barnard (Cambridge) collected the helpers to send the Warriors comfortably ahead by three through 40.

In the final 20, Laurentian and Waterloo would exchange goals with Redmond getting in on the action, her third of the season making the final 4-1.

Stephanie Sluys (Clinton) picked up her fourth win of the season with 13 stops while Laura Deller was the losing tender allowing four goals on 20 shots.

Waterloo will have another big test tomorrow as they welcome the No. 9 Nipissing Lakers to CIF.  Puck drop is set for 2:30pm and the game can  be seen live on OUA.tv.
