MacDonald picked up a loose puck in the slot after a

Amy Barnard (Cambridge) got the assists of keeping the puck alive out front of Dubie.
Waterloo's opening goal came at 3:24 of the first period as

The Lions found the tying goal early in the third period as Leah Hibbert was on the right side of a bouncing pack that snuck past
Stephanie Sluys (Clinton). Sluys however stood tall the rest of the period as York took it to the black and gold. Sluys finished the game with 24 stops improving her league leading goals against average to 1.12.
Waterloo improved to 8-3-0 on the season, good for third overall in the OUA with 22 points, just one back of second place Guelph and three back of first place Nipissing.
