Box Score It's a shame the Warriors were slated for only three home games before the Christmas break as the black and gold have been on fire on home court winning all three matches. Tonight, Waterloo made it three straight, taking out the RMC Paladins in straight sets (25-12, 25-10, 25-15).
Last week's athlete of the week
Casey Clunas (Harriston) led the way with nine kills while
Kayla Wierts (Drayton) and
Alyson Colpitts (Fredericton) had five each.
At the net Clunas and
Brooklyn Gallant (Cambridge) each had two assisted blocks while Wierts had a solo and assisted block. Gallant was also a factor from the service line with three aces.
Setting up the Warriors was second year setter
Karly Smith (Lockport) who finished the contest with 27 assists.
The win improved Waterloo's record to 3-2 as they now sit in third in the OUA west with six points. The Warriors will be back on the road next weekend when they face McMaster on Friday and Brock the following night in St. Catharines.
